Looking at getting either a K&N 57i Kit or a K&N Typhoon kit for my pug (2.0L 138bhp). What would be the better option? What's the overall difference between the two apart from the Typhoon looking prettier.

Hey everyone,

Finally, a decent looking 206 forum in aus.

Just saw an invite to visit from Jordie on a UK site.

Here is my Pug, a China Blue '03 206 GTi Rallye.

Rallye came with what you see in the pic plus a Devil muffler.

I am planning on light to moderately tuning it and working on the handling a bit.

So far I have only managed to get my CAI in, nice difference to throttle response!

hello everyone. my names ricky and im new to this forum. i just bought a 2nd hand gti last month and the brakes need to be replaced. i thought taking it to mechanics would b realli expensive and u never know if they do a good job so i decided to DIY. ive been looking around @ rotors n i found some rotors have two other holes aside of the stud holes (OMP GrN) whereas some other rotors like EBC only contain the four stud holes.

what are those other two holes exactly? i was told they are for mounting ...

I guess the topic is too general until I find out what the code is/was.

My wife was driving the GTI 2.0 on the freeway when she noticed the engine warning light starting to flash. On the way home, the light became steady. So I left the car in the garage and made an appointment with the local pug service. Didn't drive it at all until yesterday for a short and slow trip (5km) and back. Light still steady.

However, this morning on the way to service, I noticed the light was no longer ...

Hi guys. I have a set of as new 16" 206 GTi wheels for sale. When the original owner bought the car they drove from the dealer to the wheel shop and got different wheels fitted. So these have done no more than 50km. These are essentially brand new. They are sitting in boxes in my garage. I will get some pics up tomorrow. I am in Brisbane but I don't know how much these would cost to send by courier interstate.

I had my new system fitted lastweek in brisbane at magics workshop. Really happy with the quality of the exhaust, Its a very neat job. Also great service at the workshop, Thanks magic and carlo.

Its a full system from the standard manifold back, Including high flow cat, Middle muffler and rear muffler. Sounds awesome and has made a big difference in performance, Especially around the 5000rpm mark. I will post some photos up when i get it up on a hoist again, Heres a few videos of it..

basically he told me that he needs a fairly exact number on who is interested...this will determine shipping (obviously), as well as the discount he can provide.

I also made an inquiry as to the price of the Raceland Manifold. He told me they no longer supply Raceland products - so if you were interested, like I was, then Kam Racing is a no go.

Whose interested?
