K&N Panel Filter Or K&N Induction?
Since the GSR Saga has come to an end, i have to look for other alternatives, hence the reason of purchasing K&N products?? a toss up between the 2, what do people recommend should i get? Panel Filter i can get for $80 from Repco, the Induction from Ebay UK $215 plus postage specifically for my 1.6 16v??

if you can afford the induction kit and dont mind spending the extra money then go for that. its going to be more unique. if your asking about performance, then i dont really think either will change your world but the induction kit will make a better noise!

Re: K&N Panel Filter Or K&N Induction?
I just recently purchased a typhoon kit for my 180. Got it from an ebay store for about $350 delivered, which i thought was pretty decent.
One thing to note is that i have been told by a few stockists that they (K&N) no longer have any silver ones in stock, so its blue or nothing.

couple install photos of typhoon. Fitted it up in about 2 hours, hardest part was getting hands into position to fit stoppers onto the vacuum hoses. removing the old intake resonater was pretty easy once i figured out how things unclipped. K&N had also welded on the wrong fitting for attaching to the car body, but easily got around that with a trip to the hardware. i watn going to send it back and wait another 6 weeks to get a new one.
