Meets and Event Information

Stage 1 was fun, but for me not that challenging. It's aimed at the 18 year old 1st time drivers and people you wouldn't normally drive aggressively(or defensively even)

It certainly shows what you car can or cannot do in terms of stopping and steering under brakes.

Not much preparation is needed, just empty the car of anything that can move and make sure anything else it tied down, ie tyre iron, jack, spare wheel etc.

Pump the tires to fairly high presure (ie 38-40)

Yeah, I have done stage 1 at Calder (www.adrenalin.com.au) - and yeah, I was actually bored. Nothing fun, merely braking at 60 and 65kph - there is a noticeable difference. I did it with a few good people though - ie STi's and a Supra - those guys were fun. Stage 2 at Calder means that they take you on the track.

I would much rather prefer doing a race driving course - there is a cool Rally package on Adrenalin where you get to drive 6 laps in a rally car - (Evos and WRX's).

yeah my gf gave me something similar for xmas - its 5 laps around eastern creek raceway in a V8 falcon or holden, should be rather fun.
